I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support at the Convention. Not only do I appreciate your votes, but I am also grateful that there are so many Democrats in the Ist CD who care enough to participate in this important process. It was wonderful to see the conference center at the Woodlands packed with excited and energized Democrats.
 
I also hope you will join me in thanking my opponent, Ted Hontz. I am honored to have his support now as we move forward, united to take back the First CD for our party.

I am truly humbled to have the nomination of our party, and pledge to you that I will work to give us the very best chance of winning this seat on December 11.
